I'm going to tell you a story you won't want to hear, in fact - I imagine - you won't be able to make it to the last paragraph. When you see what the story is about, you're going to feel like the smoker when the people who love him tell him he has to quit?<\/p>
On one occasion, a man bought a can of sardines for one euro. This man thought he could sell the can and make a small profit and decided to sell it for two euros. It was great! He had made a profit of 100%.<\/p>
The buyer (the one who paid the 3 euros), initially, had not bought the can to resell it, but knowing how well the previous seller had done, he decided to try his luck and put it on sale for 4 euros... the can was sold immediately. New profit for 100%.<\/p>
This new buyer was sure that he had not bought just any can, he had bought something that was giving spectacular returns to its previous owners and he tried his luck trying to sell this one for 10 euros... the can was sold in the blink of an eye. The profits were increasing, everyone wondered what the secret of this mysterious can was, but no one doubted that it was a safe investment.<\/p>
The last buyer was willing to sell it for 30 euros... it took him a while, but he found a new buyer.<\/p>
The latter, intrigued and eager to know what the mystery of this fabulous tin was, which could be bought at the corner supermarket for one euro and which he had paid 30, decided to open the \"marvellous tin\". What was his surprise when he saw that there were \"only\" four sardines in it?<\/p>
Confident that it was a mistake, he went to look for the last seller and said: \"Excuse me, I opened the tin and saw that there were only four sardines, can you tell me where the secret is? The seller, looking astonished and half joking, half serious, said: \"Don't tell me you opened them... the tin was not to be opened, it was to be sold again...\".<\/p>
Substitute ?sardine can? for ?hotel establishment? or ?fashionable restaurant? and you will understand a little of what is happening in Ibiza-Formentera.<\/em> (I suppose in Mallorca and perhaps to a lesser extent in Menorca).
